American rapper Hurricane Chris aka Christopher Jerrod Dooley Jr., has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder on 19 June 2020. As per the Shreveport Police Department, the rapper shot down a man to death in Louisana. The police authorities took him in custody at 1 a.m. local time and got charged with second-degree murder.

The department stated Hurricane Chris is detained for further investigation. Despite that, there are no revelations regarding his arrest.

As per the documents, Hurrican Chris shot a man with a gun outside of a gas station. Although the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, he later died.

After the rapper got himself in the police custody, he claimed that he made a move of self-defense after the struggle over the vehicle. However, the security footage of the incident showcased that it was not an act of self-defense.

Likewise, the vehicle he used was said to be stolen.
